Dr. Marc Fasanella and colleagues from the Ecological Culture Initiative will demonstrate how to build an economy based in aquifer protection, marine conservation, and outdoor recreation through the passing on of traditional knowledge (agronomy, architectural design, and landscape ecology).

Civic Association Board member and founder of the new environmental non-profit the Ecological Culture Initiative Dr. Marc Fasanella and his associates will demonstrate how residents of Hampton Bays can make changes in their landscaping and remodeling practices to minimize their impact on the health of our waterways and woodlands. Also discussed will be the connection between individual and community wide land use practice.
